Sales Agent and Broker License Renewal

For sales agents and brokers in Texas, the renewal of an active license requires the completion of 18 hours of continuing education every two years.  For sales agents, 8 hours must be dedicated to legal update courses, 3 hours must be dedicated to a contracts course and the remaining 7 hours can be elective courses. For brokers, 8 hours must be dedicated to legal update courses, 6 hours must be dedicated to broker responsibility, 3 hours must be dedicated to a contracts course and the remaining 1 hour can be an elective course.

Course Expiration: Expiration dates vary for each course but are generally one year after your order date.

Final Exams: The minimum passing score for final exams is 70% and there is no limit to the number of exam attempts.

Certificates: You will receive an electronic certificate of course completion immediately upon successful completion of the course.
