Salesperson and Broker License Renewal

For salespersons and brokers in Pennsylvania, an active real estate license must be renewed every two years, with licenses expiring on May 31 of even-numbered years. To renew, licensees are required to complete 14 hours of Commission-approved continuing education during each renewal cycle. For the 2026 renewal cycle, this includes mandatory hours in specific topics, 3 hours in Agency Relationships and 2 hours in Fair Housing, with the remaining 9 hours completed in elective courses approved by the Pennsylvania State Real Estate Commission. Courses must be completed by the May 31 renewal deadline.

Final Exams: The minimum passing score for final exams is 70% and there is no limit to the number of exam attempts.

Certificates: You will receive an electronic certificate of course completion immediately upon successful completion of the course.
