Virginia Real Estate Post-Licensing Requirements
Sales Associate Post-Licensing
Newly licensed Virginia real estate salespersons must complete 30 hours of Virginia Real Estate Board-approved post-license education (PLE) within one year from the last day of the month in which their license was issued. Failure to complete the required education within that timeframe will result in the license being placed on inactive status.
The 30-hour post-license curriculum consists of nine mandatory subject areas required by the Virginia Real Estate Board. New salespersons completing their first renewal are required to complete post-license education instead of the standard continuing education requirement for experienced licensees.
Our courses are approved by the Virginia Real Estate Board and fulfill all Virginia post-license education requirements for salespersons renewing their license for the first time.
