Georgia Real Estate License Renewal Requirements
Salesperson License Renewal
Georgia salespersons must complete 36 hours of continuing education every four years to renew an active license. Licenses expire on the last day of the licensee’s birth month in the fourth year, and you can renew up to 120 days early.
Of the 36 hours, 3 must be Georgia License Law, and the remaining 33 can be electives.
New salespersons must complete a 25-hour Salesperson Post-License course within their first year of licensure, or their license will lapse. That course counts for 9 of the 36 hours, so a salesperson’s first renewal requires only 27 more hours of continuing education.
Our courses are approved by the Georgia Real Estate Commission and count toward continuing education for salesperson license renewal.
Broker License Renewal
Georgia brokers, including associate brokers and qualifying brokers, must complete 36 hours of continuing education every four years to renew an active license. Licenses expire on the last day of the licensee’s birth month in the fourth year, and you can renew up to 120 days early.
Of the 36 hours, 3 must be Georgia License Law. As of July 1, 2025, another 18 hours must be broker-specific courses, and the remaining 15 can be electives.
Our courses are approved by the Georgia Real Estate Commission and count toward the License Law and elective hours for broker renewal. Please note that we do not offer the 18-hour broker-specific courses.
