Missouri Real Estate License Renewal Requirements

Salesperson and Broker License Renewal

For salespersons and brokers in Missouri, the renewal of an active license requires the completion of 12 hours of continuing education every two years. The renewal date is 6/30 every even-numbered year for brokers and 9/30 every even-numbered year for salespersons.  Of these 12 hours, 3 hours must be dedicated to a core course (fair housing for the 2026 renewal cycle) and the remaining 9 hours can be elective courses.  These courses must be approved by the Missouri Real Estate Commission.

Course Details

Course Format: Our courses are entirely online and self-paced, featuring a blend of text and interactive elements such as true/false matching, vocabulary matching, scenario-based learning, and more. This format makes our courses both engaging and informative.

Reporting: We report course completions to the Missouri Real Estate Commission automatically on your behalf, typically within 1-2 business days.

Course Expiration: Expiration dates vary for each course but are generally one year after your order date.

Final Exams: The minimum passing score for final exams is 70%. The course must be retaken is the exam is not passed.

Certificates: You will receive an electronic certificate of course completion immediately upon successful completion of the course.
